It's unbearable now mainly because the dev kit has bad lag and horrible resolution. With low persistence, a proper frame rate, and a better resolution, I'd be surprised if people still got sick from this kind of stuff. Who the heck gets shield charged and just stays perfectly still? How are games going to do much of anything if the camera has to be 100% in control of the player at all times? I just don't see how this will work, as virtually all games I've ever played have the player get knocked / nudged / pushed at some point. But there have been people who have been in a virtual car in DK1 for one or two minutes before having to take the headset off and run to the bathroom just in case they needed to vomit. But when they tried out Crystal Cove with even shakier scenarios, they completely forgot they were wearing a headset after a half hour.That having been said, I do think the Best Practices Guide exists for a reason.
